Water Droplets Macro: How did I do it

OK i'll try to explain my method of photographing water droplets in this tutorial

Things you will need:
-A camera (prefably a DSLR or a digital camera with manual shutter AND macro mode)
-Extension tubes (to allow your lens to take macro shots with shorter focal length)
OR
even better, a dedicated macro lens(which is too costly for me)
-Remote control to trigger the camera
-Tripod
-Container with a large surface area
-Black tray
-bright construction papers ( these will act as a backdrop to change the background colour )
-A plasic bag with a tiny pinhole at the bottom (to allow water to drip at a constant rate)
-Water!

The set-up:


On the camera, set the shutter speed at around 1/200th of a second and aperture between f13-16.Flash must be set to on.

The procedure:
Once you have the above set-up ready, then proceed to do the following:

-Focus your camera on an area slightly above the water by using a pencil or any sharp object.

-Then, place the plastic bag with dripping water aimed directly below the area.
This will allow the water to fall at the focused area and reduce any chance of blurry shots.

-START SHOOTING:
don't worry too much about the timing, it takes time to get it right, but experiment with it and you will get all sorts of different outcomes.

-The construction paper acts as a backdrop which will change the colour of the water. Try out with other colors or even combine them together.
